Enjoyed the day trip to Cockatoo Island. It was a cold winter morning in Sydney, we had to take a boat to get here. This is also the time I met my friend Mark for the first time. I thought that the exhibition was wonderfully executed. They took advantage of the massiveness of the space making it possible to display huge installations and art work. It makes you wonder and most of the art pieces gives a great contrast to the island’s industrial grounds.
I find this the most interesting part of the exhibit. We were surrounded by which looks like a folliage of white feathers and different materials suspended in the air equipped with sensors to make some of it move. It was entertaining and impressive.
